Director, Loyalty & Database Marketing

Position Overview

Redbox is looking for a dynamic and analytical leader to develop and drive a world class loyalty program for one of the largest customer bases in the Media industry. Redbox is looking to dramatically evolve and improve our current loyalty program and is seeking the right candidate to lead these efforts. As a leader within the Marketing organization, the Director will have full responsibility for designing, implementing, and managing the current Redbox Play Pass program (Loyalty 1.0). Beyond this, the goal is to deliver enhanced benefits to customers through gamification resulting in a higher level of customer engagement (Loyalty 3.0). Amplifying the Redbox loyalty program is vital to long-term growth plans and a necessity to enhance the customer experience, drive increased retention, and foster a strong brand attachment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evolve the current Redbox “punch-card” program to a more robust and engaging loyalty program that spans across all of Redbox’s current and new offerings
  • Partner with the product team and external platforms to architect and deploy a world class database and loyalty program for Redbox
  • Partner with internal analytics teams to establish KPIs and measure performance of any and all programs that are implemented
  • Achieve annual customer retention and life time value goals and convincingly communicate that story to senior management
  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to plan and implement all aspects of the Redbox customer loyalty program
  • Fully manage all 3rd party relationships that Redbox will require to execute the loyalty program
  • Right size the points economy to optimal efficiency in promoting revenue driving behaviors
  • Guide marketing channels on communication strategies to ensure that retention needs are integrated into appropriate communications and marketing channels and plans (i.e., website, email, mobile)
  • Actively and accurately report out program growth and results

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Master’s level degree preferred or equivalent training and experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in the design, implementation, and day-to-day management of database and loyalty marketing programs in a large consumer facing enterprise
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills and mindset
  • Driven, enthusiastic and creative leader who can influence the broader organization with a clear vision and analytic storytelling
  • Solid organizational and project management skills, including strong follow through skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, deadlines and work streams
  • Resourceful and results-oriented self-starter, with an ability to thrive in an authentic, feedback-driven culture and” roll-up-your-sleeves” environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
